This Clash Royale Minion Academy Album Guide covers the September 2026 Album Event: what the album is, how you earn Snippets by playing, how filling it moves you along the rewards road, and why it matters if you want the new Minion Giant early. It was announced in the September TV Royale broadcast alongside Hero Ice Wizard, Royale Shuffle and the 2v2 Competitive League.
Minion Academy Album
Announced for the September 2026 season. Supercell has not confirmed the album's own start and end. Royale Shuffle runs September 21 to October 5, 2026; whether the album follows the same window has not been announced.
An Album Event is a story-driven reward track. The album is split into Scenes, each Scene is a set of Snippets, and every Snippet you collect fills in part of the story and moves you along the rewards road. Minion Academy Edition is the next album in that series, themed around the Minions and the new Minion Giant.
The format is the one every recent album has used, so if you completed an earlier album nothing about the flow has changed: earn Snippets, complete Scenes, claim rewards. The broadcast capture below shows two of this album's Rare Snippets, from Scene 9 and Scene 5.

Snippets come from playing. Battle rewards hand them out daily, with a cap on how many you can earn each day, and event-specific sources can add more while the album runs. Each Snippet has a rarity, Common, Rare, Epic or Legendary, and belongs either to a specific Scene or to a general pool. The rarer the Snippet, the rarer the drop.
If you pull a Snippet you already own it counts as a Duplicate. In previous albums, Duplicates of one rarity could be exchanged for a new Snippet of that rarity; the drop rates and that exchange are broken down in our Clash Royale Snippets guide, and this page will note any change for this album.
Rewards sit along the road and unlock as the album fills. Tiers pay out as you complete Scenes, and the Grand Prize waits at the end of the road for a full album. The broadcast capture below shows the Grand Prize row.

Minion Giant, the new 4-elixir flying win condition, is a brand-new card and the album is its announced route to early copies: the card is among the album rewards. Whether it also drops from chests and other normal sources once it releases, and when that release is, has not been announced. Once it is playable, the Minion Giant card page will carry real decks and win rates from live battles.
It counts as a Duplicate. In previous albums, Duplicates of one rarity could be exchanged for a new Snippet of that rarity; our Snippets guide explains how that system worked, and this page will note any change for this album.
Supercell has not confirmed the album's own dates. This page will be updated when they are announced.
It is the announced way to earn copies before the card is out. How Minion Giant will be obtainable after that, from chests and other normal sources, has not been announced yet.
