Clash Royale Snippets Guide: How They Work and Drop Rates

Snippets are the collectible currency behind every Clash Royale Album Event, story-driven reward tracks that Supercell reuses each time a new one launches. Whichever album is running right now, the rarities, drop rates and Duplicate exchange system below work the same way.

The four Snippet rarities: Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary.

What Are Snippets?

Snippets come in four rarities, Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary, and each one belongs to either a specific Scene in the album or a general pool. You earn Snippets from daily battle rewards (up to four per day), the Shop, and limited-time events, including the Road to Ronin unlock event. Collecting Snippets and completing Scenes is how you progress through the album and unlock its rewards.

Duplicates and the Unique Snippet Exchange

If you earn a Snippet you already own, it counts as a Duplicate instead. Once you build up enough Duplicates of a given rarity, you can exchange them for a Unique Snippet, one guaranteed to be new to your collection. The number of Duplicates required scales with rarity:

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if I get a Snippet I already have?

It counts as a Duplicate. Collect enough Duplicates of a rarity and you can exchange them for a guaranteed new Snippet of that rarity.

What do extra Snippets do after I finish the album?

Any Snippets earned after full completion convert into bonus rewards rather than going to waste.

Is the Road to Ronin the same as the Wandering Warrior?
