Ronin is the first new card of 2026, releasing in July (Season 85), almost a year after the last new card, Vines, which launched in September 2025. He's a 5 Elixir Legendary troop built to beat every melee troop in the game in a straight 1v1, including Pekka, Boss Bandit and Mega Knight.
Ronin's Parry Damage blocks one incoming ground melee attack every 3.5 seconds and reflects double the blocked damage back at the attacker. It doesn't protect against ranged damage, air damage, deploy damage, death damage, spells, or AOE abilities, so swarms and ranged troops are still his weakness.
Ronin hasn't released yet. Decks will appear here once he's live in July 2026.
