This Privacy Policy explains how RoyaleTracker ("we", "us", "our", or the "Website") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit or use our website.

1. Overview

RoyaleTracker is an unofficial, fan-made statistics and tracking website for the game Clash Royale. The Website provides publicly available game data and analytics for informational and entertainment purposes.

We do not require user accounts. We store publicly available player data described in Section 2.1, which may qualify as personal data under EU law and is handled accordingly.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Player Tags, Usernames, and Public Game Data

When you use the Website to search for players or clans, we process and store publicly available in-game data obtained via the official Supercell public API, including:

• Player usernames
• Player tags
• Clan information
• Publicly available statistics (such as trophies, decks, card levels, battle data, and related metrics)

Whenever a player profile is viewed on the Website, that player's tag and in-game username are added to a searchable index so profiles can be found by name. This index is retained indefinitely. If you want a tag removed from it, contact us at the address in Section 13.

To generate aggregate deck and card statistics, we also periodically retrieve battle data for a sample of players from Supercell's public API, whether or not they have used this Website. This data is used only in aggregate, is not linked to visitors of the Website, and is deleted after 45 days.

This data may be cached and stored to improve performance, generate aggregate analytics (such as deck usage statistics and leaderboards), and provide historical insights.

We do not collect private account credentials, email addresses, or any non-public personal information.

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

When you visit the Website, certain information is collected automatically, including:

• IP address
• Browser type and version
• Device type and operating system
• Pages visited

This information is used for security, analytics, performance optimization, and abuse prevention.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• Operate and maintain the Website
• Provide player search functionality
• Improve performance and user experience
• Protect against fraud, abuse, and security threats
• Comply with legal obligations

We process this data on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating the Website and providing player statistics. Advertising cookies are set only with your consent where required.

4. Third-Party Services

The Website relies on trusted third-party services, including but not limited to:

• Supercell public APIs (game data)
• Hosting providers (for the Website, its database and server logs)
• Cloudflare Web Analytics (privacy-friendly aggregate analytics that use no cookies)
• Google AdSense (advertising, see Section 8)
• Anthropic (deck builder and deck rater): when you use either tool, the card data from your Clash Royale profile is sent to Anthropic's API to generate deck suggestions or analysis. Your player tag is not sent. Anthropic does not use API data to train its models. The last 10 sets of deck builder suggestions are stored on our servers against your player tag and can be viewed by anyone who looks up that tag.

These third parties may process data in accordance with their own privacy policies.

5. Data Retention

Player index data described in Section 2.1 is retained indefinitely. Battle data is retained for 45 days. Deck builder suggestions are kept to the last 10 per player tag. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting. Cached data may be periodically deleted.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the player data collected through the Supercell public API, including usernames and tags.

However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Website sets two functional cookies of its own, db_did and dr_did, which identify your device to enforce the daily free-use limit on the deck builder and deck rater. They are set only when you first use those tools and expire after 400 days. Cloudflare Web Analytics operates without cookies. Google AdSense sets advertising cookies as described in Section 8, subject to your consent where required. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings.

8. Third-Party Advertising

The Website displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this Website and other websites on the internet.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve personalized ads to you. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or www.aboutads.info/choices.
