How to Get Hero Berserker for Free

You can get Hero Berserker for free by winning 3 Chaos Draft League Games. That is the whole requirement: no purchase, no Pass Royale track, no chest luck and no reward road to grind. The only catch is the deadline, because the mode itself is a two-week event.

Ken's C.H.A.O.S. Draft League ends August 17, 2026.

The unlock closes with the event. Three wins is quick, but it has to happen before the timer runs out.

The Three Steps

Enter the ranked Chaos Draft League. It sits in the Events tab and is free to enter. You draft 4 cards, your opponent automatically gets the other 4, and both players then pick modifiers. There is no deck to build beforehand, so nothing is gated behind your collection.
Win 3 battles. The unlock panel is titled Unleash the Beast and tracks a plain Win 3 Battles counter, starting at 0/3. Only wins move it. Losses cost you nothing but time, so there is no run to protect and no reason not to queue again straight away.
Collect Hero Berserker at 3/3. The lock comes off and the card is added to your Collection like any other new card. There is nothing to buy or claim afterwards.

Hero Berserker is the free hero this season. Hero Valkyrie is Pass Royale only.

Get Your Three Wins Faster

Three wins is a short ask, so the only thing that really speeds it up is drafting better. Picks come one at a time under a timer, which means the two things worth knowing before you queue are which cards are actually winning in this pool and which modifiers are worth taking. Both lists are built from live Draft League battles, ordered by pick rate first and win rate second.

What Hero Berserker Does

Announced ability: it puts the card into a full Berserk state, shown in game as a Gold Berserker, with a spirit animal appearing alongside it. Hit speed increases for the duration, and while the ability is active it cannot drop below 1 hitpoint, so it does not die during the window. That is what Supercell described at the announcement, not measured behaviour: no duration, activation cost or damage figures were given, so none are listed here. The other free unlock this season

Evo Elite Barbarians is also free, but it comes out of Ken's Shop, so it costs currency instead of wins and runs on its own deadline.
