Executioner
Bowler
Inferno Dragon
Graveyard
Knight
Zappies
Tornado
FreezeEvo Executioner and Zappies form an impenetrable defensive core against any ground push. Hero Bowler knocks back troops that reach the tower. Graveyard + Freeze is the kill combo: one Graveyard cycle on a chipped tower ends the game.
Key tip
Never use Freeze offensively until the enemy tower is below 500 HP. Save it as the kill shot, not as chip support.
Executioner
Golden Knight
Inferno Dragon
Graveyard
Bowler
Zappies
Tornado
FreezeThe most-played deck in Sudden Death with 11,832 battles, the proven safe pick. Golden Knight dashes into Graveyard skeleton swarms for massive value. Evo Executioner clears all remaining swarm troops with chain lightning.
Key tip
Send Golden Knight directly into your Graveyard push. The dash stun clears skeleton clumps while Bowler knocks back any ground defenders.
Furnace
Barbarian Barrel
Tesla
Graveyard
Knight
Poison
Skeletons
Ice SpiritEvo Furnace generates passive chip through the entire match with constant Fire Spirit spawns. Evo Tesla at 3.0 avg elixir makes this the cheapest Graveyard deck in the format. Graveyard + Poison is the classic slow-grind kill combo.
Key tip
Place Evo Furnace early and let it deal chip for the full match. By the time double elixir arrives, a Graveyard + Poison combo can finish a half-health tower.
Goblin Barrel
Dark Prince
Giant Snowball
Cannon Cart
Rocket
Bandit
Princess
RascalsEvo Giant Snowball forces opponents into difficult spell decisions. Hero Dark Prince is an unstoppable ground presence that deals massive damage. Rocket cycles for direct tower chip. In Sudden Death a 400 HP tower dies to one Rocket.
Key tip
Bait the opponent's Zap or Log with Princess, then immediately cycle Evo Goblin Barrel while their spell is on cooldown.
Goblin Barrel
Goblins
Valkyrie
Rocket
Princess
Dart Goblin
Ice Spirit
Electro SpiritAt 2.9 average elixir this is the fastest-cycling top deck in the format. Evo Valkyrie spins and clears all swarm counters. Hero Goblins puts constant 3-elixir pressure on towers. Rocket cycle finishes whatever chip the Goblins accumulate.
Key tip
In double elixir, send Evo Goblin Barrel and Hero Goblins to opposite lanes simultaneously. Your opponent cannot defend both with standard counters.

Tips to Get 15 Wins
- Play a deck you already know. Sudden Death punishes unfamiliar decks hard. Pick something you have used on ladder, not a new archetype.
- Never overcommit elixir on offense. Spending 10 elixir attacking while your opponent rushes means you have nothing to defend with and lose instantly.
- Track your opponent's spell cycle. If they have Rocket or Fireball and your tower is below 500 HP, play extremely defensively until their spell is used.
- Prioritize building placement. Tesla, Cannon and Inferno Tower are your most important cards. Place them centrally to cover both lanes before anything else.
- Use Graveyard if you are nervous: chip it down, chip it down, then Freeze for the finish. It is the safest kill pattern in the format.
- Punish overcommitments immediately. If your opponent spends 9 elixir on a push you defend cheaply, counter-push hard. They have nothing left to defend.
- Spell-cycle low towers. If you chip a tower below 300 HP start cycling Fireball or Rocket immediately. Winning the match is worth the elixir.
Rewards: What Can You Win?
The primary reward for the Sudden Death League is the exclusive League Badge, which most players will be targeting. There is also an elite leaderboard reward for the top performers globally.
Sudden Death League Badge + 7 Magic Chests + 7 Gold Crates. The full reward bundle for completing the League.
Top 10K Leaderboard Finisher Badge, for elite placement on the global ranking.
The Bowler's Mixtape Album Event (May 4-25) also rewards Bowler Hero Fragments. These are separate from the League but running concurrently.
The League Badge is the realistic goal for the vast majority of players. Getting to top 10,000 requires heavy grinding and a high win rate. Aim for 15 wins first, then assess your standing on the leaderboard.
What is the Sudden Death League?
The Sudden Death Competitive League is a limited-time ranked event running from May 18 to May 28, 2026 as part of Season 83 “Siege and Swish.” Unlike standard Competitive Leagues, Sudden Death uses a completely different elimination rule that changes every aspect of how you play the game.
The core rule is simple but brutal: the first player to lose any Crown Tower loses the match instantly. There is no crown count, no King Tower activation, and no overtime. The moment a single Arena Tower or King Tower falls, the game ends and the opponent wins. All cards are set to tournament standard level 11, and double elixir is active from the very first second of every match.
This rule completely changes how the game is played. Every chip damage hit to a tower is potentially lethal. One Goblin Barrel connecting to a 50 HP tower ends the game instantly. A Rocket cycling at a 400 HP tower wins on the spot. The entire dynamic shifts from “build a lead” to “protect your towers above everything else” and knowing when a kill is possible is the most important skill in the format.
How Sudden Death Changes Deck Building
Defense is non-negotiable in this format. Every competitive deck needs a building (Tesla, Cannon, Inferno Tower), a swarm counter (Skeletons, Goblins, Electro Spirit), and a splash defender (Executioner, Valkyrie, Bowler). A deck that cannot reliably defend a rush will lose the moment any tower drops to zero, and in double elixir that can happen in seconds.
Spell health becomes a critical consideration. Cards that survive a Fireball (Musketeer at 618 HP, Wizard at 598 HP, Witch at 650 HP) gain disproportionate value because opponents cannot remove them with a single spell. Cards that die to stacked spells become liabilities since the opponent can clear your entire defense for 6–7 elixir and push immediately.
Direct damage spell cycling rises in importance above all else. If an opponent's tower is sitting below 400 HP, cycling Rocket or Fireball to finish it wins the game. This means decks with Rocket (6 elixir, 855 damage at level 11) or Fireball (4 elixir, 564 damage) have a built-in path to victory that does not exist in standard modes. Use the deck rater to check average elixir before locking in your choice.
Heavy beatdown archetypes struggle significantly. Golem, Lava Hound, and Elixir Golem all require long setup time that exposes your towers to chip. The top Sudden Death meta decks are dominated by Graveyard Freeze control and fast Goblin Barrel cycle, both archetypes that maintain defensive control while creating instant-win kill threats.
