Clash Royale June 2026 Update - Everything New

The June 2026 Clash Royale update went live on June 1st, 2026, bringing a new Evolution, a new Hero, a brand new game mode and a complete progression rework. Here is everything you need to know.

Princess Evolution

Evolved Princess' first shot, and every third after, fires an icy arrow that slows nearby enemies. When she's defeated, her arrows are dropped, leaving behind an area of ice to slow down enemy troops.

You can unlock Princess Evolution with Evolution Shards or through the Upgraded Pass Royale.

Hero Tombstone

Ability: Regal Revival

Ever wonder what sort of femme fatale could convince the dead to battle once again?

Tap Hero Tombstone's ability button to raise Tomb Queen from the earth and destroy the nearest building. Unlock Hero Tombstone free from the Undead Bazaar next season.

New Game Mode - Princess Gambit

Princess Gambit has no fixed decks. 40 cards appear randomly in your hand throughout the match. Cards appear in their Evolution and Hero forms as shown at match start. Sudden death format: the first tower destroyed wins immediately, no matter the state of the middle tower. Princess Gambit is excellent for low arena players who don't have maxed cards, as all card leveling is equalized.

Seasonal Trophy Road Split

Trophy Road now splits into two seasonal arenas after completion. Seasonal Arena II bans your top 8 most-used cards, forcing you to develop new strategies and find fresh deck archetypes. All cards are boosted to level 15 minimum in Arena II, ensuring new players aren't left behind by the difficulty increase.

Collection Levels (XP Replaced)

Every player received one-time Celebration Rewards based on their Collection Level when the update launched on June 1st, 2026. Your Collection Level is calculated by adding all your card levels, plus 5 points for each Evolution and Hero you own.

King Tower Level cannot decrease - even if you don't meet the new requirements after the update.

More Changes

Pass Royale streak rewards are now permanent; no more losing your streak.
Mini Pass is a shorter limited-time reward track available for 5-7 days as a lower-commitment alternative to Pass Royale.
Catch-up rewards for players below the average trophy level in their arena.
Global Tournament spectating returns: watch top players compete live.
